Demetria Obilor, a traffic anchor for ABC Channel 8 in Dallas, landed on the radars of many after a Facebook hater couldn’t handle her onscreen thickness. Obilor, who has gotten the support of Gabrielle Union and Chance The Rapper among others, is unapologetic in showing off what nature blessed her with and every morning, she’s making rush hour a little better for folks in the Big D.

Obilor hails from Kansas City, Missouri and is a graduate of the University of Kansas. After living and working in Las Vegas as a traffic anchor for KLAS-TV, she made the leap to the Lone Star State to join Channel 8.

Earlier in the month, Obilor’s curves were apparently offensive to one woman named Jan Shedd who tried to come for the traffic anchor and called her outfit choices “ridiculous.”

We’re gonna pretend Ol’ Jan meant to say Obilor looks amazing and that she is a blessing to the eyes in those early Dallas mornings before braving traffic. And all the attention Obilor has gotten worked out in her favor as Union sent her some clothes to stunt on Jan and the haters some more.

Majors, who is a hopeful for the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, has turned heads as a finalist for SI’s open call for models. Currently, Majors is in the top 15 after entering an initial pool of 35 contestants.

Demi Rose Mawby first turned heads after she was linked to rapper Tyga in the wake of his breakup with Kylie Jenner. Now, chatter has been going around that the top-heavy Brit model is linked to Drake although nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

According to the Daily Mail, Demi Rose was seen leaving a London nightclub with those thangs sitting out right and proper, attempting to shield her face from the paparazzi swarming in for photo opportunities. Drake was seen strolling out shortly after Mawby left the scene, although it wasn’t really clear to observers if they arrived or even left together.

YG dropped a very NSFW and uncut video for “Pop It, Shake It.” All the ass getting twerked  in the clip naturally led to comparisons to Nelly’s infamous “Tip Drill” video.

Anansa Sims has made a splash in the modeling world for her head-turning looks as part of the “curve” market, and is signed to one of the world’s top agencies. In the course of making a name for herself in the industry, it wouldn’t be surprising if Ms. Sims’ career follows a similar track to that of her famous mother.

Sims, who models for the Wilhelmina Los Angeles: Curve agency, is the daughter of Beverly Johnson, a legend in the modeling world and the first Black woman to land the cover of Vouge. In fact, Johnson’s appearance on the magazine cover in 1974 broke a major barrier for other Black models and ushered in a new era.

Floyd Mayweather is in the midst of preparing for his upcoming match against UFC champ Conor McGregor, and reports are coming in that he’s found someone across the pond to kiss away any potential pain. The elite boxer is allegedly dating former UK reality TV actress Abigail Clarke, although all of it has yet to be confirmed on either side.

Actor Michael B. Jordan has seemingly divided Black Twitter today after it came out that he’s allegedly found himself a new love, although some fans weren’t happy with the fact that the woman in question didn’t appear to be Black. Without assuming too much, it appears Jordan’s rumored boo piece Ashlyn Castro is a woman of color, and she’s our latest Baes & Baddies entry.

Not much is known about Ms. Castro and the little information we found online seems to suggest she’s been in celebrity circles before as a Tumblr fan noted that she was comment creeping on Los Angeles Lakers player Brandon Ingram’s Instagram.

Jordan hasn’t made any public comments about the rumored union, but the small bit of footage that’s out there seemingly suggests there could be something happening but it’s still largely speculative.
